FEDERAL TAX UPDATE
Stay up to date with this informative and entertaining recap of important cases, rulings, regulations, and legislation from the past 12 months in the federal income, estate, and gift tax laws. Specific topics to be addressed will depend on recent developments but will likely include income and transfer tax issues related to QTIP trusts, the constitutionality of a wealth tax, the estate taxation of corporate-owned life insurance, and cases involving the valuation of charitable contributions.
We are very excited to have Mr. Donaldson speak at the annual meeting and are offering the opportunity for guests to attend. If you would like to bring a guest, they may register by visiting our website http://www.epccny.org. The cost for guests is $50, and cash or checks will be accepted at the door.
If a current member's guest applies for and is granted membership to the Estate Planning Council of CNY for the 2025-2026 year, we will reduce their membership dues by $50.
**One hour of Continuing Legal Education credit in the area of Professional Practice provided by Mackenzie Hughes LLP, a NYS CLE Accredited Provider, is available for attorneys who attend in-person. This program is appropriate for both newly admitted and experienced attorneys. **
